Now you can watch water ripples forever on @zksync Era! A friend of mine told me about generative art, and I was fascinated by that concept. It sounds so cool, but what can I, as a tech founder, create that will look fascinating? It should be something simple but powerful enough to create captivating patterns. As you may already guess, I decided to simulate ripples on the water surface. Yeah, you need to know about the wave equation and the finite difference method to solve differential equations. It may sound complicated, but honestly, it is not rocket science. Code runs a physics simulation using p5.js, and the art is represented by 63x63 dots. The colors and size of the dots depend on the height of the water surface.
